- VISIT MARTHA AND GILBERT IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
Standing proudly in front of Omni Edinburgh in the heart of Edinburgh’s City centre are two giraffes, nicknames Martha and Gilbert. These beautiful scrap-metal sculptures were created by Scottish artist Helen Denerley and unveiled in July 2005. Look out for the poem at the base of the statue by Roy Campbell.
