Indoor Family-Friendly Activities

Put down the tech and engage in some quality family time with the ultimate battle experience at Boom Battle Bar. Try the fully loaded lunchtime package, including 1x game, 1x bevvy/ soft drink per person and snacks. Available for ages 11+, from £15 per person, book Monday to Friday until 1:30 pm. Kids age 8+ are allowed to play age-appropriate games until 7pm, after which time Boom Battle Bar is an 18-over-only destination.

Get your brain into gear with an escape room challenge at Escape Hunt or head out into the city to complete an exciting City Hunt themed-game. Each of the age-appropriate escape rooms are packed with excitement and are the perfect adventure for the whole family. Suitable for ages 8+, each puzzle room lasts 60 to 90 minutes, for 2 to 6 players at £22 per person.

Pre-booking activities is recommended, especially if you plan to visit on a weekend or during the holiday.

Or indulge in authentic Italian pizza and pasta at Tony Macaroni with their kid’s menu offering a main meal, dessert and drink from £7.95, plus lots of fun puzzles to entertain while dining.

If it’s a snack you’re after, check out the Boom Bites menu for tasty treats, including wings, nachos, loaded fries, tots and loaded hot dogs from £6 each at Boom Battle Bar. While Slug & Lettuce serves up a variety of brunch dishes, snacks and sharing platters for adults, your little besties can join you for a kids brunch before noon, or choose from the kids pick ’n’ mix menu, which includes a main meal, dessert and drink. And if you have fussy eaters in tow, you won’t go far wrong with these; The Nando’s Nandinos set menu starts from £6.25 for a main course, two sides and a dessert or drink, Cosmo World Buffet kids dine from £11.99 and under five years dine from £2.99, and at Wetherspoon the kids menu is under £8.

Getting to OMNi Edinburgh

We’re located in the heart of Edinburgh city centre, neighbours to Edinburgh Playhouse and directly opposite the back of St. James Quarter.

Get to us by Tram and get dropped off directly outside OMNi Edinburgh, walk to us from anywhere in the city centre, or park up in Q Park located directly next to us on Greenside Row (Sat Nav EH1 3AJ). Day entry is £3.50 per hour, and evening entry is £2.90. With 20 Ev Charging points now available at Q Park.
