A Note from LGBT Health and Wellbeing
We’re LGBT Health and Wellbeing and we’re here so LGBTQ+ people across Scotland can access life-changing support. We provide counselling, community groups, wellbeing programmes, and safe spaces for people to connect with others and feel accepted for who they are.
People like Seb, who found the confidence to be themselves at one of our groups:
“The group has been this amazing safe haven, where I’ve been able to slowly come out of my shell, make friends who understand me, and let me just be me.”
This Pride season, stories like Seb’s remind us why this work matters. All support and every donation, no matter what size, helps us to keep creating connection and to offer support, and a sense of belonging.
If you donate, you’re not just giving money, you’re helping to:
- Keep isolation at bay for an older LGBTQ+ person
- Fund a trans person’s first safe counselling session
- Ensure that when our helpline rings, the call is answered
- Support someone facing hate to rebuild their pride and power
- Make sure someone who feels invisible is finally seen
Create joy – the kind that says “our lives are worth celebrating, all year long”
Together, we can ensure LGBTQ+ people across Scotland have somewhere to turn, somewhere to belong, and somewhere they can be themselves – not just during Pride season, but all year round.
